The National Association of Realtors reported that more than 50 percent of March's home sales were first-time buyers, most of the homes being foreclosures or short sales. As we see the first time homebuyers taking advantage of the tax credit and low interest rates, we will hopefully see a revitalization of straight sales.

I sell in Hernando County, Florida (Spring Hill, Weeki Wachee, and Brooksville) and I would say that 90% of my sales this month were foreclosures.
