Apparently, everybody is having a hard time in this economy, even the people who can afford mansions (that doesn't include me. Tampa sales in the affulent neighborhoods where these mansions are bieng built have slowed down considerably and prices have come down.

A developer in Avila reported that he is not building many "mansions" in his development. However, it sport professionals, like Derek Jeter, who is building on Davis Island, still have the money to build. There are several other sports professionals building in and around the Tampa area.

Just thought I would give you the word on "mansion" building.
