Looks like some home development in the Tampa, Hillsborough County, Florida and Orlando, Orange County, Florida areas could be in our near future! The high-speed rail project, planned to link Tampa and Orlando together, could bring some much needed jobs to the area.
This $1.25 billion project is planned to be completed by 2014, according to the Obama Administration, creating thousands of jobs and making the trip time between the two cities less than an hour, as opposed to the hour and half that it currently takes.
In addition to the employment gain and loss in travel time, the high-speed rail project will bring home development: with the need for jobs comes the need for homes.
