Finally after 20 years, Citrus County and Crystal River have made decisions that will promote cleaner safer waterways in our natural springs and rivers.  

It’s has been a long held common belief that stopping growth in the county would keep things the way they were. With such natural beauty in abundance it’s easy to see why residents would want to keep things this way. However this unfortunate theory has had devastating environmental impact, of pumping waste into the water.  Now plans for sewer and water treatment are in the works. 

It’s refreshing to see our local governments working together with integrity and purpose for the people and the environment.
